Dragons to raise the roof at Vodafone Arena

The Crazy John’s South Dragons are set to raise the roof at Vodafone Arena on Saturday, February 16 when they take on the Sydney Kings beneath the stars in their final hit-out for season 2007/08.

Weather permitting, the Dragons will take on the rampaging Sydneysiders in the first and only open-air game of the HUMMER Championship calendar as the roof is lifted off the Arena to send the team out in style.

Not since the days of the Victoria Titans has Melbourne experienced open-air basketball, with the Crazy John’s South Dragons now set to rekindle the event for their hometown fans.

Shane Heal and Brian Goorjian will do battle on the sidelines at the February 16 clash as Dragons stars Joe Ingles, Jacob Holmes, Cortez Groves and teammates go to work on Kings favourites Glen Saville, Jason Smith, Russell Hinder and a host of big-name ball stars.
