2007/08 Womens Summer Season Finals Fixtures

The finals are here for the 2007/08 season of womens basketball. It is time to start the post season. Check the website weekly for competition ladders and news. Below are the fixtures for the finals which begin on April 1st. The format of the finals this season is a straight knockout system where the teams who win their semi finals progress straight through to the decider on April 8th. For the loser of the semi finals, the season is over.

Check the Qualified Players page to ensure that all members of the team who take the court in the finals are eligible to play. Also, don't forget to register your team for the 2008 Winter Season of Tuesday Night Womens competition.

To qualify for finals a player must have scored, fouled or signed the back of the score sheet in a minimum of six matches.

All teams will pay the regular match fee of $50.00

Timing Rules for Finals:
The clock will stop on all whistles in the last three minutes of the second half
The clock will stop on all time outs
Each team is entitled to (2) time outs per half
In the case of a drawn game a further 5 minutes of over time will be played, each team will retain their shooting end and the clock will stop on all whistles
Each team is entitled to (1) time out in any overtime period

A door charge of $2.00 will apply to all spectators for Grand Finals
