HBA announce Junior and Senior Magic Coaches

The Hawthorn Basketball Association (HBA) is pleased to announce Head Coaches for the Junior and Senior Magic Programs for the upcoming season.

Senior Magic Head Coaches

Senior Men: Peter Godfrey (3rd Year)

Senior Women: Jai Cesari (3rd Year)

Youth Men: Shawn King (3rd Year)

Youth Women: Tom Maher (2nd Year)

After a successful 2018 in Big V, all four coaches will return in 2019, hoping to continue the development and improvement of the senior program, which had both the Men and Youth Men teams reach the Semi-Finals (Top 4). That development of the Mens program was recognised with Peter Godfrey being awarded the Big V SCM Coach of the Year Award. The Women’s Program continued to demonstrate its ability to develop athletes with Lara Edmanson, Sara-Rose Smith and Sophie Owens making an impact within State and National Identification Programs.
